The Octopus WomanEmerald plays a seductive Octopus-Woman (think a sexy Ursula from 'The Little Mermaid').
This tentacled temptress just loves snacking on her favourite treat: sushi! But when the vital ingredient runs out Emerald has to take matters into her own hands in this lively and energetic piece of darkly comic burlesque. Sexy but offbeat, and performed in an elaborate custom made costume, this act is Emerald's signature performance and shows off her aptitude for facial expressions and strange characters. Music Track - A mixed track of 'Carivale' by Combustible Edison and 'Ghost of Stephen Foster' by Squirrel Nut Zippers.

The Emotional StripPerformers are often reputed as being slaves to their emotions and it seems that Emerald is no exception!
This Silly Showgirl just can't seem to decide what mood she's in and it shows in the way she removes her layers of brightly coloured costume. In this riotous and crowd pleasing act Emerald, in true oddball style, strips her way through the full complement of human emotions, with hilarious results. Using her skills in mime and facial expressions to really bring the different moods to life, and in a fun and fantastic brightly coloured costume Emerald delights the audience and keeps them laughing from start to finish. Music Track - A mixed track using eight different tracks representing the different emotions. As part of the fun of the act is the surprise of the different tracks, a comprehensive track listing is available on request via email (or go to the Videos section of this website for a sneak peek!). |

The Last JackalopeA Jackalope is a strange creature, a wild rabbit with an expansive pair of antlers. In this atmospheric, emotional piece Emerald uses reverse strip to create a strange, poignant fairytale about the loneliest animal in the forest.
This act is exquisitely costumed to create a heartbreaking fantasy that is especially well suited to high end events. At request this act can also be performed with no nudity* making it equally suitable for a burlesque audience or for events with mixed agegroups. Strictly speaking this performance is not a burlesque act in the traditional sense of the word. It is probably closer to a cabaret or performance art piece, however it was created with a burlesque audience in mind and would be well suited to nights that book fan dances, wings of isis acts or other performances that fit under the burlesque umbrella but are not strictly burlesque. Music Track - A mixed track of "Study #5" by Fernando Sor, "Underwater" by Danny Elfman and "Childhood" by Yann Tiersenn. To see a footage of this act please go to the Videos page. *if you would like this act performed without nudity please mention on enquiring |

What She Will BecomeLoosely based on the legend of Baba Yaga from Russian folklore, What She Will Become is a semi-abstract piece of striptease based performance art.
With a dark, sensuous and decidedly creepy mood this act sees the young woman who will grow up to become Baba Yaga overwhelmed by her destiny and the power she will soon posess. The performance uses wings of isis to create an act that is dramatic and striking. Music Track - A mixed track of "Grisly Reminder" by Midnight Syndicate and "The Tunnel" by John Murphy
Emerald currently has three Feather Fan Dances in her repertoire, however feather fan performances can be choreographed to a track of your choice on request.
Fur Elise - Performed using beautiful mint green fans to the track of the same name this act is delicate and dancerly, focusing on the beautiful side of burlesque. The Glow Worm - Performed to the track of the same name by the Mills Brothers this fan dance is upbeat and peppy, filled with cheesecake expressions and a fun, flirtatious energy. Corpse Fan Dance - Performed to string quartet version of 'Spiders' by System of a Down. This fan dance is atmospheric, seductive and heartwrenching, portraying a corpse who returns from her grave to dance for one more night. Perfect for Halloween! |
